Don't break out the party hats just yet. The World Situation may yet undercut Iomega's "Big Announcement." The UN Security Council is meeting right now, and somehow, I think that news of Tomohawks flying over Saddam's head just may grab a headline or two.

Iomega seems to have some bad luck in terms of good news timing. This announcement tomorrow could be no different. The market is uncertain, the world situation is uncertain, and whether Clique drives will somehow corrupt directories and crash in PDA's and cameras is uncertain.

With a nervous world market, IOM's rise tomorrow is not a sure thing. I just hope that some of the people here don't get burned when the stock fails to meet expectations.
