You had the story and pictures posted to you yesterday of the Pak Mullahs demanding just that of a Pak woman. And the people demonstrating to demand that be carried out.

But you refuse to comment on that.

Come on, you asked me to stop the discussion in a PM.

The Pak woman is accused of blasphamy against Islam. That's an attack on Islam and is similar to but quite not the same as apostacy. Apostacy is a individual change of belief. Blasphemy is a public action, apostacy is a private action.

It's like comparing one who burns the US flag in the street (similar to blasphemy) to one who sits at home and decides they no longer support America (similar to apostacy).

It's not even similar to the discussion on apostacy's punishment of death. Obviously loads of Pakistani support their countries blasphemy law. You could easily get them to say so on English TV if you tried. You agreed you can't get Muslims to admit to the death penalty for apostacy in English TV.

You want to know what I think of the religious crowd of Pakistanis defending their countries blasphemy laws? I think they're a bunch of backward idiots. Pakistan is one of the least appealing basket case countries on the entire planet. Most Pakistanis agree with me. I know this because I've asked them. The talented and capable and wealthy Pakistanis all do the same thing - they leave.

And that's enough trouble for now.....
