Back to fundamental analysis, the only thing (other than wishful thinking about a buyout) holding the stock in the mid-20's is the 1998 estimates of $2.00 by the various analysts. If you think they are right, the stock is cheap.

But I think they are completely wrong. The margin squeeze is going to get worse, not better. GTW used to be one of 2 (or 3, if you count MUEI) decent size direct sellers. Now almost everyone is going direct. Forget $2.00 EPS - in 1998 GTW will be struggling to stay in the black, and the stock will see single digits.
