i was generous in my calculations

on big mac, with big fries and a drink costs usd 2.84

interest rate ranges between 0.0001 to 0.01 percent per annum (not a typing mistake, as in take (US$ 2.84 per day x 365 days)/0.0001 (using the highest interest rate available) = 10,366,000 usd on deposit

using the lowest interest rate from the 'safest' bank (hsbc), one would need US$ 1 billion on deposit for same burger per day. the kids would get the burger, my wife and i can share the fries.
