One of the reasons Carter was so bad is that he was heavily influenced by Brzezinski who held (still does) a grudge against the Soviets/Nazis for invading Poland, where his family enjoyed the status of aristocrats, and putting his entire family in exile.

He was responsible for funding the Mujahadine to fight against the Soviets in the hopes of creating a Vietnam for the Russians - all motivated for personal reasons and not in the best interest of our country.

Carter rails against people who call him the worst president. He could rehab his reputation if he would own up to his mistakes, if he would own up to the fact that the problems we're having in the ME, and in particular Iran, lay at his doorstep. Instead he also grovels and placates the mullahs and terrorist outfits like Hamas and Hezbollah.

As far as I'm concerned, both Carter and Zbig are traitors. They both continue to commit treason with their ongoing activities supporting Hamas and Hezbollah.
