A solid response .. thank you. Economics .. It costs the US a lot of tax dollars to enforce the current marijuana policy. Which could be defended if it worked .. but it can't be defended as a program being funded by tax dollars. Medically .. Our government outlawed a known, medically accepted, treatment for at least one form of cancer in 1937. There's much more this medicine has to offer. The two combined well justifies a modification of existing policies. At this time, there has been a motion raised before the House. We need to do something about our current status, in our national parks, that will work. What will produce the results we desire is up for debate now.
