It's not a "tactic", it's a fact. No, it's a theory. And a theory so flawed that the climate scientologists have had to lie about their data and intimidate those scientists with dissenting views and contradictory information. It is so flawed that the climate scientologists that you worship continually have to manipulate real data to get the outcome they want. And the reason you get so angry about this is that you perceive people who disagree with you as attacking your faith. They are not gods and the world is not about to end. Earth is a CLOSED system. Yes! Yes it is! New carbon isn't being generated by man. It has been here all the time. It isn't a poison to the planet. Shhh, don't tell anyone, but...you are a carbon based lifeform. YES! I know, I know, amazing as it seems, carbon is not only NOT evil, it is a fundamental part of your being. And..get this, CO2 is part of YOUR respiratory process. (GASP!). Yes! you breathe out CO2. In fact, all of that carbon was in the atmosphere before and through a fluke of nature it wound up underground. But there is much much more dissolved in the oceans. And a little bit of natural warming from the sun can cause that dissolved CO2 to be released into the atmosphere, thus increasing the atmospheric CO2. They'll look upon us with disgust. I agree, they will look upon you and the other climate fraudsters with contempt once it has become widely known that you all tried to perpetrate this crime against humanity.
