Tech bloodbath, part 2.

One thing that has been noted by several posters is the belief that the late Oct. lows would have to be tested before a real reversal could take place. So in that regard, one has to think that we are getting to that point now.

Most declines are made in a series of two dives -- today's dive is numero two on the hit parade, so I'm calculating that a reversal should come from this in the next few days.

Well one has to appreciate the times that we are in...

Hey, Although I only got filled for one put, I did pick the day's high, yes? Most SI gurus will say that's impossible. When I tried to prove it with an earlier post to one of these gurus that it was indeed possible I was ignored, yet a good stock trade on the long side always gets attention.

You, like most, only look at it from the point of view that a long-side trade is a good trade....others do not exist.

Back off and relax...one cannot consistently make a living here only trading from the long side. If, as I conceptualize, this becomes an "official" bear market, then a lot of the SI people will find other things to do. This is just a situation that people played for years buying the dips.

Ain't happening no more. This game is going to get serious soon and the buy the dip crowd is going back to the water cooler to talk about the coming baseball season, bud.

Don't get discouraged.

AV,
I am looking to add some equips at these prices. Specifically, looking to add a pure play CMP. Which do you prefer, IPEC or SFAM? Do you think either or both of these will have their lunches eaten by AMAT? TIA for any insight

Regards,

Brian
