Ian and all: With reference to your post:

I have contacted UTEK IR and have confirmed your estimates with the exception of Verdant (PGILD) at 900m. The official position for PGILD as of two weeks ago is 400m - 600m.

This is not to say that the 900m figure was not stated by Art Z. He has worked from a potential $2b market and attempted to gauge what kind of market share he can get. The estimates for PGILD are all over the map from UTEK. I posted awhile back that the estimate was for $350m. Someone had an article where some UTEK engineer had an estimate. The bottom line is that there is a general consensus in UTEK that PGILD will be a home run. The only issue remaining is how far out of the park is it going to be hit.

(Ian you may want to clarify your post

techstocks.com

where you quote "100m" as the figure for either for PGILD or for total revenue for UTEK).

With that said, all the other estimates are accurate. Lithography may be 300-350m as opposed to 300m (Ian, you did no double counting). In any event, all must ask themselves the following fundamental question: what equipment suppliers are as diversified as UTEK and plan to quadruple their revenue base (to approx. $1.3b) by the end of 2000?? UTEK is one. If there are others, I would like to know about them.

The market was giving UTEK away today. What a great day to add to a position or establish a new one if you are a long term investor.
