Paul - I wonder if there is thought to be emerging a situation such as SFLX met - reduced demand (Asian/world slowdown) just as lots of newly invested-in capacity comes on line - hence big hit to future eps.

Just returned from trip also. Looks like the growth and PEs in ECM sector being reevaluated. Bought April 35 calls and trying to sell april 35 puts for $5 so I am quite bullish. BTW HDCO reports on nov 17 after close with conf. call at 4:45 eastern. Don't know the numbers or the replay info.

JBIL whacked due to 3-Com analyst downgrades.

3-Com is 20% of JBIL sales. People also concered about excess 3-Com modem inventory in channel, which would be a whammy for their CEM. However, a complete non-issue for FLEXF as no exposure to 3-Com except for the Pilot, which is doing very well.

Believe ECM sector completely overcorrected. When these guys report next Q and everything is fine, sector will rebound sharply. In meantime, who knows what the jokers do who are pushing these stocks all over the place. However, long-term huge upside potential from current prices, negligible downside due to overreaction, all bad news baked in/overdone.

My opinion.

I noticed that SCI & SLR are down significantly as well (not to mention ACTM & NTAIF although the latter two have their own reasons). However, given FLEXF relatively strong showing in Q3 (beating analyst expectations by a significant margin) and current year acquisitions, I think sellers are underestimating FLEXF value.

Paul,

Flexf moving up today. Know of any news? BTW, Flexf has a really bearish pattern at the moment and I was wondering what your position regarding this issue is.

After getting my butt kicked recently I was looking to hedge on a few stocks that looked vulnerable. Haven't made a move on it yet but it looks inviting chartwise.
