Is VZ a good stock to own before the APPL announcement? 5.2% Div Wow!

VZ is a good dividend stock. I don't think it is a growth stock, even with iPhone coming. You might get a few point pop, but long term, I think there are better growth stocks to put the money in.

Cloud computing companies are at the early stages, and I prefer them over any wireless carrier.

Just my 2 cents.
