I do not deny the existence of objective moral facts, but I deny their apparency. The very construction "objective moral facts" begs the question imo.
You embrace the concept of God as mediated by Jesus. This requires you to dismiss any other approaches to moral grounding. This further means that, since we don't agree on the basic premise (my read of human nature is at significant variance with core Christian doctrine) I doubt that we can find common ground in re this question.
I do find torturing babies (or ants) for pleasure to be morally repugnant. I cannot prove that to you, since I do not subscribe to the doctrine that you see as necessary for any sort of self-consistent moral philosophy.
I am hoping that you can accept - on faith, if needed - that I do have a moral philosophy that, in practice, you'd recognize as good.
