It sounds exactly like some primitive writer explaining the unknown (they knew nothing about science, of course) by weaving a primitive myth. Every culture has these sorts of stories. We have seen thousands of them! If it walks like a duck and swims like a duck and quacks like a duck--IT IS A DUCK! Unless you're a fake Christian in which case it is just a god who did not understand the English language. How could He, after all! English wasn't invented until the tower of babel!! Ha! Ha!
