RE:Infantry and Armor Divisions on the ground anywhere again

Shoot, if Mexico collapses, we may have to send them there.

We are not going to put Infantry and Armor Divisions on the ground anywhere again

That is an indictment of DOD and the service academies.
They earned it. They have not won anything significant since WWII. I think it is fair to question their gallantry. When was the last time you heard of a West Point general being killed in combat?

I should point out no Infantry or Armor divisions are listed in this cut.

And I certainly would not rule out an expansion of our current wars. I've said it often enough, "Wars like to expand."
When we can no longer project power we become 2nd class or worse. I do believe it looks like we are headed that way. We are disarming while our opponents and potential opponents are arming up.

Personally, I hope that if we have no intention of decisively winning that we will not fight. That would include self-defense.

Personally, I find it hard to reconcile warfare that consists of missile strikes piloted by techies in Florida with warfare that puts boots on the ground under court martial if they accidentally kill the wrong person.
