You can't see how there can not possibly be a beginning of time/space-time?

Whether or not there is is not something we can answer with a high degree of confidence but some widely supported theories suggest there was.

I guess its kind of hard to grasp either way, either no beginning, true eternal existence no matter how far back you go, or truly being nothing, and then (to the extent "and then" even makes sense if there was no time before) there is time.
