Symbols are powerful...this picture is worth a 1000 words and almost tells the whole story ....IMHO it needs three more components to complete the entire picture of US (Western) society - the element of subordination to power which has conditioned us culturally to set aside our personal principles and subordinate ourselves - and then the complacency of the silent majority (lets call us Plebians) who lack the will to do anything about getting screwed because things aren't bad enough...this has been a 350 year long process enabled by one very simple lever....the "personhood" of Corporations...change this golden rule and the whole thing crumbles...I am encouraged somewhat by the recent movement in the US to "legalize democracy"...it would be nice to see this idea gain traction...but it certainly won't be through mainstream media I don't have a lot of time on my hands but I am thinking of starting a thread to do a little to chip away at this important issue that affects the lives of everyone...would appreciate any suggestions or thoughts through PM to get me started
