Grammy,

The chart looks pretty gruesome. It's not a PGDCEB (Post Gap Dead Cat Exhaustion Bottom). Requirements are: a gap down of about 30% or more, at least a few weeks of trading afterwards with no other significant gaps, then a "signal day" where the price makes a new post gap low on volume greater than each of at least the previous 3 days with a close that day off the low.

Subj: MVSI Subsidiary Receives Contract Order from Boeing for Laser Vision System for
Date: 97-11-12 16:06:33 EST
From: AOL News

VIENNA, Va., Nov. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- MVSI, Inc. (Nasdaq: MVSI) announced
today that its subsidiary, MVS Modular Vision Systems, Inc. ("MVS"), has
received a contract order for a LaserVision Robot Control System for
Rocketdyne Propulsion and Power, a part of The Boeing Company (NYSE: BA).
Boeing's Rocketdyne Division manufactures space power systems including the
Atlas and Delta Expendable Launch Vehicle (ELV) rocket booster engines.
This is the second order for MVS laser vision products for Rocketdyne.
Rocketdyne plans to use the MVS LaserVision Robot Control System to increase
product throughput by adding the MVS LaserVision system to a robotic
manipulator used in the production of rocket thrust chambers. After extensive
research and development work by Rocketdyne, it was determined that the MVS
LaserVision system could decrease the amount of handling in the pre-furnace
brazing operations for Atlas and Delta rocket thrust chambers. Additional
uses for MVS systems are being considered. MVS LaserVision Robot Control
Systems sell for between $50,000 and $100,000 each, depending on the
configuration.
MVS is striving to have its LaserVision Robot Control Systems and
LaserVision Weld Seam Tracking and Inspection Systems as standard vision
components for automated welding system integrators in a number of key
industries. This order from Boeing Rocketdyne as well as the recent orders
from JH Benedict, Noksel, Four Corporation and Automated Welding Systems, all
of which have been publicly announced, reflects the growing success of MVS
laser vision technology in penetrating not only the end user market but the
welding and inspection equipment integration industries and their end users.
MVSI manufactures and integrates machine vision systems for robotics,
semiconductor and other industries, integrates and markets brand name
proprietary and generic high-end computer system products and support
services, provides technology training and performs computer software
engineering and development for systems applications, including implementing
solutions for the Year 2000 conversion.
