I cut my coffee intake from one pot a day to two cups a day, and I'm sleeping a lot better now.

Whoa, I did not know there was a lethal dose of coffee. How did I ever survive those port/stbd watch sections while underway for 100+ days with full work days.

There are many drugs that someone can be addicted to.

Some of them are legal.

There was a time when I would drink about 8 full pots of coffee in a working day....These days its cut down to 2 pots. (1 pot = 3 good sized coffee mugs NOT cups).

Each mug of coffee - usually accompanied by 2-3 cigarettes.

If you want to talk about "lethal dose", the amount of nicotine in 1 regular cigarette, if taken intravenously, is sufficient to kill.

PS : Trivia : I read a "news" item recently that said President Obama has kicked his cigarette smoking habit, and now uses Nicorette. Who is he kidding - he has just substituted one nicotine source for another....
