I'd say ASND held up unusually well. Let's hope that the market soon stabalizes.

Well, with the NASDAQ down by over 40, ASND actually closed up 1/2.

More broadly speaking, this is starting to get to me a little. Here's how far various tech stocks are off their 52-week highs:

AMD: off 59%
ASND: off 70%
COMS: off 62%
CSCO: off 12%
INTC: off 27%
SUNW: off 40%

It sure is a good thing we're not in an actual bear market, isn't it?

Today's action was significant. A small portion may have to do with options expiration - that nudging effect is always there. Last month, the expiration effect was combined with the rumor of the LU buyout. I don't think the MM's would try that again; they know we wouldn't buy it.

That leads me to believe that something's up. To be honest, I still thing ASND is in trouble. But from a short term trading point of view, we may see some upside here. I covered 1/2 my position at the close. Let's see what tomorrow brings.
