You had better check the definition of vitriol/vitriolic.

There has not been ONE Conservative leader advocating violence and I know for a fact that you cannot produce one. Scathing criticism does not qualify for a call for violence. Have you seen any conservative leaders in Arizona, the supposed capitol of hate, calling for violence? You and Tomaso need to go play in a different sandbox.

'that this has not become the nice United States of America that most of us grew up in," Dupnik said.

Referring to the increasing vitriol, he said, "that may be free speech, but it may not be without consequences.""

Amen...no one has said it better than this guy IMHO

LOL, turns out your beloved sheriff in Pima County (you know the leader that blamed "vitriol" for the shooting) F'd up and is trying to cover his tracks.

Jared Loughner has been making death threats by phone to many people in Pima County including staff of Pima Community College, radio personalities and local bloggers. When Pima County Sheriff’s Office was informed, his deputies assured the victims that he was being well managed by the mental health system. It was also suggested that further pressing of charges would be unnecessary and probably cause more problems than it solved as Jared Loughner has a family member that works for Pima County. Amy Loughner is a Natural Resource specialist for the Pima County Parks and Recreation

This is just too good.

You didn't mention that good ol' Clarence the sheriff is an elected Democrat. LLLLOOOOOLLLLLL You're quoting a Democrat that failed to do his job as an authority on what caused this tragedy. This just gets better and better.
