'Well said, John. I'm pretty disillusioned by the behavior of thread participants, and will be starting a new RRECI moderated thread later today. Time to pour cold water on all the political nonsense. It's gone well past a simple waste of time (which was bad enough to begin with). The kid who shot all these people in Tucson was nuts (in my opinion) but he was undoubtedly influenced by the tone of the rhetoric around here (Arizona) over the last year. Time for a cooling off period and a new dialog. Hopefully by mature adults this time instead of the Palin's, Beck's and their counterparts on the Left (and yes they are there as well).'
