My father had a 380 and it was the same as a 9mm short. Gotta be real accurate with that. Oops, the gun wasn't accurate either.

Had a friend who worked in a corrections work release thing. I got him a deal on a 380. He had to transport a real bad guy and borrowed my .44 mag. Guy got unruly and was dropped not by a shot but by a swat with the .44 mag.

Congrats - good thing we have choices.

I love the Ruger LCP but only with the finger grip extension on the magazines otherwise it's a bit hard to handle. I also use regular ball ammo as opposed to hollow points as I need all the penetration I can get in .380.

The LCP had a possible unsafe drop condition that was corrected long ago.
