Thanks for posting that. It got me moving!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ms. Lopez,
I am so glad you are not my representative. Why? Because you have a problem with leadership. No true and honest leader would immediately cast blame on millions of Americans after such a horrible tragedy as happened in your state yesterday. The bodies were not even cold, and the poor innocent victims of this hateful crime were fighting for their lives and there you were in all of your ignorance spouting untruths about the motives of the despicable person who shot representative Giffords.
You said the shooter was ex-military and had been in Afghanistan...........defaming our military. You said that the good people who represent the Tea Party...........some of whom surely live in your district...........were to blame.
YOU are the problem Ms Lopez! You and people like you who are so consumed by hatred for others that you will say anything to flame the fires of hatred and bias.
You should be ASHAMED of yourself.
If I were one of your constituents I would be embarrassed to call you my representative.
Shame on you!
Sincerely,
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
The AZ Shooting and Democratic Politics of Blood Libel
Posted by Jim Hoft on Sunday, January 9, 2011, 10:40 PM
Democrats are using the bloody slaughter at the Tucson supermarket by an anti-Christian, anti-Constitution, left-wing, pro-Marx, antiflag, “quite liberal” lunatic to target Sarah Palin and the tea party.
(Going Rogue)
Glenn Reynolds went after the political scavengers in The Wall Street Journal today, via The Corner.
Glenn hits it out of the park.
To be clear, if you’re using this event to criticize the “rhetoric” of Mrs. Palin or others with whom you disagree, then you’re either: (a) asserting a connection between the “rhetoric” and the shooting, which based on evidence to date would be what we call a vicious lie; or (b) you’re not, in which case you’re just seizing on a tragedy to try to score unrelated political points, which is contemptible. Which is it?
I understand the desperation that Democrats must feel after taking a historic beating in the midterm elections and seeing the popularity of ObamaCare plummet while voters flee the party in droves. But those who purport to care about the health of our political community demonstrate precious little actual concern for America’s political well-being when they seize on any pretext, however flimsy, to call their political opponents accomplices to murder.
Where is the decency in that?
