There was some PR at Next gEn for ATVI that the group developing
Anhilation were fired and they were looking to Sculptured SW to

THQI has been impervious to the recent setbacks in the market, continuing to make new highs. I think this bodes well for the entire industry. There is a lot of institutional attention with THQ. It's only a matter of time before their interest in the rest of the sector takes hold. Remember, they're talking $10B sales for the industry.

This thread reminds me of the THQ thread about six months ago. I think GTIS has a good chance to follow in THQ's footsteps. Let's face it, SingleTrac, MPRS and GTIS release highly regarded, good selling games. Correct me if I'm wrong, but GTIS' releases average 400K sales per title. That's earnings, baby.

The negatives: Did they pay too much for the acquisitions? The stock is under heavy selling pressure of late so more than a few people think so. But that does not necessarily mean they are right. My guess is that they will be proven wrong in 1998. Clink. Plink. ( the sounds of 2› hitting the table).
