I have seen many stocks hold up well in a big selloff and then decline right after. Also, stocks that hold up well in a selloff don't come back much when the sun comes out again. A stock holding up well in a selloff has never impressed me.

ASND had a remarkably high call volume today at Nov/Dec 25 and 30 strike prices without comparable put volume so it is not an arbitrage situation.
To me this indicates:
-there is some speculation going on about some possible news in
the next month or so that may push the stock higher
-people buying protective calls for their short positions in the stock, but since ASND had an up day the calls have not been at their cheapest prices

I suspect there may be something cooking at ASND, but it is just a baseless guess.
