We're just at that $26 bottom Bear Sterns Predicted (sorry, just had to put on a positive spin) I won't have a margin call till $20. Wake me up from this nightmare by then. I can't tell you any more to buy this stock. I hope most can manage to hold on for now. I firmly believe fund managers are just locking in profits. It may take a quarter before they really understand the impact of SE Asian & S.American market meltdowns effect what EVERYONE agree's is a Strong Firm US market.

Well qntm is pretty much doing what I expected. I predicted it would bottom in the low 20's and then over the next two years roughly double in value, to the low 40's. However, I'll admit I'm getting a bad case of cold feet here. If qntm could somehow jettison its disk drive business I would plunge in big, but I suppose qntm couldn't get anything much for it now. We may see losses in the drive business for the rest of the nineties and that will put a big crimp in qntm's earnings. I may still play qntm at 21 because I think we may get a dead cat bounce there, but I don't know that it is worth keeping for longer than a few days or weeks there. qntm may bottom at 20 and stay around there for the next 6 months to a year before recovering. I'm not sure what it will do, but I don't like the huge uncertainty hovering over this stock. I guess we'll know more after the next earnings report but I think you must have balls of steel to hold thru an earnings report these days.
