Ah, there's no doubt that the violent language of the moment is on the far right. And, so far, there is little doubt that Loughner's political affiliations are less important than the way unstable folk get affected by the language of violence. As I said in my Matt Bai post, I'm not a particular fan, but his notion that we can get to a worse place from here or a better place, while seriously mundane, is a good guide. There can easily be more of this stuff. Just keep your fingers crossed.
