The British newspaper, The Telegraph, had a longish piece this morning quoting the US Secret Service about the increase in the number of threatening incidents in the 08 campaign after Palin began attacking Obama as "palling around with terrorists" and the like. Can't find that specific citation right now but I recall it was in the news at the time.
