Krugman had a blog post on Sunday in which he said he hated writing this column. He loved, he said, writing columns in which he translated obscure economic writings into readable text but this political column had been particular difficult to write.

I assume that's because it's important to him to distinguish between political ridicule, which he does, and "eliminationism". I like the distinction but am not enamored with the word.
