Don't have a stroke. I was just stating what she had said. I understand your frustrations listening to these analysts be wrong so often. The problem is, they do have the power to move the stocks in the very short term.

Re: Liza ??? the analyst from that alledged respectable firm on Wall Street who made some comments regarding SUNW.

One of the most fascinating comments/analysis of Sun Microsystems I heard and which I do not think can ever possibly forget has been made by PainWeber (certainly a very respectable and famous firm on Wall Stree). Last March when SUNW was in the mid 20's they had the stock rated as hold/underperform with a 12-18 month target price of $38 (at best). Then last August/September (only 5-6 months later) they - and I do recall hearing their top analyst which regretfully I do not recall the name - on CNBC as well as their written analysis report) called Sun Microsystems the best single investment idea of 1997, and upgraded the stock to a Strong buy!!! This upgrade took place when the stock price was at $42/shr ($3 above their original 12-18 month target price of $38/shr)!!!!! And now that SUNW is back in the low 30's they have changed their mind and have rated the stock as hold/marketperform!! I wonder what happend to their best single investment idea of 1997 concept and recommending everyone to buy SUNW at $42/shr?!!!!!!!

Now perhaps someone can define, or maybe even re-define - the word respectable when it comes to analysts - especially the ones from the so called respectable firms on the Wall Street!
