Funny......pot black. Look whose suggesting introspection. How many times have you seen a shrink to discuss YOUR introspection?

OK Ted, every time I or someone else points out how insane, hateful, and illogical your posts are, you always change the subject back to those right-wingers you despise.

I have a feeling that introspection is too much for you to handle, so I'll let it go.

Maybe one day, you'll also learn to let go ...

Really? You can't understand the anger? Try to think about this in a balanced way...I don't know to what degree, if any, the rhetoric influenced this event, but you have to admit that there is a confluence around a theme of implied violence coming predominantly from the right...

Arizona shooting: Tea Party under fire for ‘We Came Unarmed, This Time’ (forums)

The Tea Party is under fire for a theme many members used during political protests and rallies, “We Came Unarmed, This Time.” Immediately following the shooting of Representative Gabrielle Giffords and 19 others that left six people dead, several political leaders asked the nation not to turn the shooting into a “political debate.”

That hasn’t happened and it seems it may be impossible to avoid. Though the alleged shooter, Jared Lee Loughner, is unknown to have any political affiliations with the Tea Party, Republican or Conservative or even hate groups, focus is on the Tea Party and Sarah Palin in particular. It must be stated that there is no evidence that anything the Tea Party movement has said or done, including the Sarah Palin Target List that included Gabrielle Giffords’ district directly, contributed to the alleged gunman, Arizona shooting suspect Jared Loughner’s motives.

What may be attributing to the recent debate is the documented fear that something of this magnitude would occur due to political rhetoric that seemed to grow out of control during the 2009 town hall meetings. It was in 2009 that President Barack Obama began touting his health care plan and the Tea Party was the bill’s larges opponent. There is no doubt that both sides of the debate have been guilty of name calling and using degrading political imagery and language; but now, heavy focus is on the Tea Party.

A particular slogan used by the Tea Party is under fire as it states, “We Came Unarmed, This Time” may be one type of slogan which will be used in future Congress debates regarding the nature of political rhetoric.

While some are blaming the Tea Party, and others blame Sarah Palin (though there is no proof Jared Loughner was influenced by either) Rush Limbaugh announced on his website to blame Loughner’s parents. Rush Limbaugh stated, “"Where are the parents? Are they derelicts? He was so devoted to marijuana he wanted to make it the new U.S. currency. Did anyone try to institutionalize him?
