I agree. As the facts emerge, it's clear Loughner had a specific obsession with Giffords. That being the case, he was probably aware of Palin's gunsights map. But you can't draw a direct line from one thing to the other in a case like this.

And Palin is absolutely a nitwit. She's sly, but still a nitwit.
