True, but the politicos always promise to put trust funds in a lock box, which they leave unlocked and steal it behind our backs.

During the Clinton shutdown, the government raided the Thrift Savings Plan to keep itself running for a few more weeks. That wasn't even in a trust fund and it was not government money--it belonged to those who put it in their Plan.

I challenged this in one of our so-called 'family meetings' and was told "don't worry, you'll get it back." Which we did, but that does not justify the embezzlement.

Also we were given Leave Without Pay for two weeks during that period, but later the pay was reinstated but no work was done for it. Only a fool would turn that down, but it turned my stomach and still does.
