Yeah, a split is a good thing. If it wasn't good then why would they do it? The stock might go up or down in the short term, or become more or less volitile, but honestly it doesn't matter to me at all because i don't trade, i just hold. Now, looking at all the press releases today, i would say that anyone of them could be considered a big announcement. But torrow is the "Big Announcement"...... My guess is what ever the announcement is, IOM will be $33 7/8 when it splits. This is like Christmas.
