I think that Firefox feature would have to do with with tracking cookies. Stuff you post on FB would be as per their terms of use, same as here on SI. So for the most part, I don't think it would change FBs behavior.

Whenever I run my malware scanner, e.g. malwarebytes or adaware, it deletes these tracking cookies. These are like beacons that are used by multiple web sites to track your meanderings.

FB already has a private browsing mode which prevents all that, although you also lose the advantage of cookies, e.g. I get here pre-logged in every day, thanks to a cookie. When I delete all cookies, which I do once in a while, I have to log in again.

Just assume everything you post online at FB is archived; every google search is archived with your name on it. If you want, just do random searches every now and then. Just to keep 'em on their toes.
