you'd almost think it a contrarian indicator....given the market in paralell has been stable or up all through the selling.....

you decide.

but none of these guys en mass wants to hold onto his "printed" company rewards. horrible buy sell numbers for the last 20 months at least.

That's the wall street mantra - never cause they know they're sitting on top of a house of cards.

Seriously though, I don't disagree it's a bad sign, but with the lack of regard most CEOs and Boards have for their shareholders, I'd guess a major percentage of those sells arises out of stock options, which is just like free money. Who cares about the dilution. Who's going to get a boatload of options/free money at the end of the year and take ANY chance that they're going to lose value.
