He's not THAT little (English Cocker, 35 lbs), and we did clear a path to the bottom of the steps but it was just coming down too hard - it's covered again already. He's not used to it. My SIL's Yorkie, OTOH - they better put a line on his collar however clear the path or he'll never find his way back.

We fought that battle with our guy for 13 winters. But now, if the old guy wants to do his business and get back to the couch, we're gonna let him.

Hasn't done it in the house for 13 years so he's a GOOD boy.
