there were a few college kids, but it was actually an older crowd. Mostly people in their 40s, 50s and 60s.

As to the ethnicity of the crowd, the woman who was sponsoring the event came up to Smoothsail after the discussion and was saying how nice it was to have her there. She then reached up and touched Smoothsail's hair and said "you have such nice hair. You're not jewish"

So yes, it was a mostly Jewish crowd...
