It is amazing no one sees a problem there. No need to even have a market, just let the machines decide prices once a day and call it quits til the next day.

1:30 pm : Stocks remain stuck at the flat line, where they have traded for two straight hours.

Results from an auction of 30-year Bonds were released at 1:00 PM ET. The auction drew a bid-to-cover ratio of 2.67 for dollar demand of $34.7 billion. The indirect bidder participation rate came in at 37.8%. For comparison, the prior auction saw a bid-to-cover of 2.74, dollar demand of $35.6 billion, and an indirect bidder participation rate of 49.5%. An average of the past five auctions results in a bid-to-cover ratio of 2.61, dollar demand of $37.0 billion, and an indirect bidder participation rate of 40.5%.
