That's what I see here. Almost all of my close friends are Rs, but the few Dems I know are feeling pretty icky about the whole thing, too. Part of it is how it emphasizes the regional divide between the attitude towards guns out here in the heartland and the silly rhetoric on this coming out of the east coast elites. Add to that the fact that Blue Dogs are disappearing anyway. It's like why try to be one anymore....pick a clear cut side and move on. This came up in conversation Sunday.
