Technology is going to grow worldwide no matter what. That's why I own some asnd and a few others. However markets only reflect value over the long term. We're due for a bear market and in that environment even the best companies sell off. Btw I'd only put the probability of this being a bear market at about 25%.

"The bull market has not yet begun! We are just getting ready for the real bull market to kick in. What is going on right now is just a quick sharp profit taking."

Addi,

Those are very bullish sentiments, and I hope you're right. I would love the bull market to continue, but I do think this is a bear market. I have no idea how long it can last, but looking at market trends around the globe it seems that its taking hold everywhere. The positive side is that treasury notes are showing strength and hopefully when things stabilize around the world the money will come pouring back into stocks. It seems that everyone is getting roasted here. I guess stocks are just propped up as high as the next buyer is willing to pay, and lately there haven't been many buyers.
I don't believe things happen in a vacuum, and Ascend will be no exception. I've also read that in bull markets values tend to go skyward with no real limits, but in bear markets they tend to hit lows and just sort of stay there without much more downside. Perhaps that's were we are at now with Ascend. Maybe todays strength is also proof that a bottom is truly here. Whatever happens though it will be determined by the macroeconomic events in the world and not soley on one US technology stocks ability to survive the global storms.

I also want to say that I appreciate your posts. They're often inciteful and motivating. BTW...did you ever sell? Just curious.

Roger
