As I said, both were given multiple chances to comply and submit to authority. You seem to blame the government for the outcome. I blame the the people that refused to submit.

In the Waco case, they were asked to release the children, but kept them as hostages. The power had been cut, and they were lighting the place with oil lamps, which were knocked down and broken when the tank poked a hole in the wall to inject tear gas. It was like a mini-earthquake in the house. It's not like the government SET the fire.

Given the attitudes of the guilty, there was no other way this was going to end. To blame the government is asinine.
