I can't remember much about it either. I think I heard pundits saying that it was the beginning of his comeback, but that he also made reference to "enemies". Not sure about that, though. Plus, the country was not as polarized as it is now.

I do think Obama's speech was fine, but wish he had said that applause was not meant for this event.

Of course, the fawning university president should have done that.

Clinton gave a 9 minute speech, unlike Obama's 35 minute speech. But Clinton and the media blamed it on Rush and talk radio.

Funny after they found out it was Clinton's fault (waco) they ignored it .Like they are ignoring liberal movies setting this guy off

Clinton specifically blamed Limbaugh for that one. At least Obama has only assigned generalize blame.
