Nonsense. If any possible result is to be considered confirming an experiment, or supporting your hypothesis through observation, than you have no real experiment or supportive observation.

Properly some results from the experiment would support the hypothesis, some would show it to be incorrect, and some would be inconclusive. Something is seriously wrong with the science (or the specific scientists methodology of conclusion) if anything that might possibly happen is considered support for the hypothesis.

Any decent scientists would recognize that point as true.
