Mike: Their accounting is slow because of expansion.

Nextel has expanded it's sales capability rapidly, aquired two or more companies, and the Pittencrief acquisition is very recent. Can you emagine the nightmare for thier accountants? If they release with bad numbers now, and have to file an ammendment later, there will be a much larger negative.

I predict that they will file tomorrow, in an up market, (Nov. 13.) Why, because the market took a beating today, tomorrow, the market will rebound. (I hope)

Michael: The market is so bad and with every company descending no matter what the news, the earnings almost doesnt matter for the stock movement. (It matters in the longer term, of course.)
