green, The nation has been governed by bad policies for decades. Obama has simply accelerated the bad. We are so screwed that the needed changes are going to be very painful. Can you imagine a presidential candidate campaigning on delivering pain?

Don't know if you saw this the other day, but would be interested in your comments. His background was Econ and Physics out of Northwestern, and stays in touch with his pretty well known Professor. A former Navy pilot, has conceived and run his own business for several years. But he studies everything concerning finance and economics (says never trust an economist) and really doesn't see a way out of the doom and gloom he sees coming, at least as we are currently configured with such massive spending.
