And I thought I was an agent provocateur! I have no respect at all for Palin. A small-time, small-mind, venal and ignorant woman whose claim to fame is a political black swan event, i.e., being chosen by McCain. Having established my bona fides and opinion about her, I thoroughly disagree that placing blame on her for what happened is correct. Loughner is clearly insane. Some small statistical number of the insane will commit violent, insane acts. There appears to be no political motive of any sort. Not that this matters: it is a wonderful opportunity for the right to beat up the left and vice versa. Stupid. The evidence seems to be that he did not listen to radio, did not watch television, etc. I don't know what this has to do with the price of gold or your delayed prognostications.
