C2, you are perhaps the first person I have seen who admitted that the WOT in Iraq was misguided. I pointed out before the conquest of Iraq that there were no WMDs, so the USA and COW were barking up the wrong tree. Hawkmoon probably remembers my commentaries and SI no doubt has them stored for "see I told you so" purposes.

But if they wished to invade and murder Saddam, Usay and Qusay [now done] it seemed in keeping with the way of life defined by Saddam and gang, so it was fair enough.

Heck, I even got the time it would take for the war's completion to "Mission Accomplished" stage spot on [one Globalstar orbit]. And as a bonus got the number of USA casualties almost spot on too. Door to door guerilla war is a dodgy proposition.
