Did Palin's 'blood libel' comment nudge Obama into refudiating the media's 'conservative incivility caused the shooting' narrative?

;>)

Note Ed Driscoll's 'How do you solve a problem like Krugman?' column. He calls attention to the key words 'it did not' that were inserted into Obama's speech apparently at the last minute ..... it wasn't in the draft released in advance and it refudiates the dominant liberal media narrative that incivil conservative voices incited Jared Loughner.

At any rate, it seems Obama's speech has failed to change the discourse. Note Driscoll calls attention to the NYT dropping those words when it quoted his speech. So even the liberal establishment isn't going to change the narrative. If Obama can't influence his own supporters, he can't influence anyone.
