I think you have a point.

I think there should be a provision added, "or by a vote equal to a majority of those who have this thread marked."

That would mean that (right now) if 63 people voted to ban someone, they would be banned.

Just a thought.

Can I recommend my own post? I don't think SI allows that. So 62 votes would be enough.

It's not a new idea. 2,500 years ago they did it in Athens. It was called ostracism.
